Puppy Power Day Thirty

Day thirty, wow! Thank you, everyone, for checking-in on this here strip periodically. It helps keep me motivated. I especially like when I can talk to people about certain strips away from my home computer. It closes the impersonal gap inherent with the internet. On to todays "as promised" strip.

Well! Yesterday was quite an adventure! Our hero and his favorite Widdle balloon were pushed off the road (Randolph Road, to be specific) by the kindest of people you could imagine. The driver explained that he was at fault as he was walking up to see if everyone was okay. Cool.
He then invited me to hang-out at his house, which was just around the corner from the collision, while we waited to hear from the tow truck driver. He said his kids would delight in meeting Mr. Widdle. They did.
After 45 easy-going and strangely enjoyable minutes, I met the tow truck driver at the scene. We all piled into the cab for the ride to the garage.
After drawing and scanning todays strip, I spent the last bit of my day reading comics in bed.
This is a very profound strip on a personal level. Two short years ago, if this same thing would have happened to me, I would have gone completely ape-freakin'-shit! The outcome would have been waaay more stressful. I am learning to remain relatively-calm in higher-stress situations. Lil' Matty's All-Grows-Up, I guess.

Click the image it has a happy ending...not the kind you sickos are imagining!
