A little stress enters our puppy-life.
Wednesday was a MOTHER! Widdle has been suffering with cancer for the last year and a half. Things called mast-cell tumors, very unsightly but begin have been growing on his hide. The folks at The Philosophers Stone suggested I contact Dr. Mike, the man who runs the Metrolina Mobile Vet Service. I took Widdle to see him and he assured me he could perform the procedure - no problem.
After coming home to wait for Dr. Mike to work his magic, I met with the guy, Francis, who pushed me off Randolph Road - remember him from Day Thirty? After giving him the key to my car in order for him to take it in for repairs, I began to let my mind wander into some stressful territory.
First, I allowed myself to get freaked-out over Widdle's surgery. Then, I worried myself over the potential troubles my little car may be encountering at the hands of the mechanic Francis chose to do the repairs. We'll see how this one works out later - stay tuned.
Widdle's surgery was a success! He looks like Franken-Pup, but he will get better. Soon he'll be able to terrorize friends and neighbors just like the old days - look out!
He's been drugged-up and wearing one of those lamp-shade-deals to keep him from messing with his stitches. The boy is a wreck, but thankfully cancer-free!
Thank you, everyone, who contributed to the "Widdle Need$ Your Help" collection-boxes I left at The Stone and Heroes. Your outpouring of kindness helped raise over $95.00! You helped restore puppy to full power!
